  • AIGA is the professional association for design, which stimulates thinking about design, demonstrates the value of design and empowers the success of designers at each stage of their careers. AIGA’s mission is to advance designing as a professional craft, strategic tool and vital cultural force.
  • AAF (The American Advertising Federation), headquartered in Washington, D.C., is the oldest national advertising trade association, representing 40,000 professionals in the advertising industry. The AAF has a national network of 200 ad clubs located in ad communities across the country. Through its 226 college chapters, the AAF provides 8,000 advertising students with real-world case studies and recruitment connections to corporate America.
  • AAF Northeast Pennsylvania is the only area organization dedicated to promoting greater effectiveness in the use of advertising and fostering higher standards of practice in advertising and public communications. We are affiliated with the American Advertising Federation.

    An AAF membership, through your company or organization, your club or your college, connects you to the entire advertising community and provides opportunities for networking, education, and valuable discounts.

  • SPD (The Society of Publication Designers) is dedicated to promoting and encouraging excellence in editorial design. Its members consist of art directors, designers, photo editors, editors and graphics professionals. Since drafting its charter in 1965, the SPD remains the only organization specifically addressing the visual concerns of print and online editorial professionals. Editorial design plays a crucial role in shaping and documenting our common history; the efforts of the Society and its members also serve to educate and enlighten the public about the importance of magazines and online publications.
  • SOD (Society of Design) is a non-profit organization dedicated to multidisciplinary design education and community service.
