Kern Type, the kerning game

KERNING is the addition or subtraction between a pair of letters. Some letters are automatically kerned at larger sizes, called Display Type. The object of good kerning is to achieve an equal balance between all letters.

Kerning letters is measured in ems. For example, one em space for a 12 point font equals 12 points. One em space for a 14 point font equals 14 points.
